Sandra L. Harris      beloved wife, mother and grandmother
Windchester, VA- Sandra L. Harris, 66, formerly of Eldred, passed away Tuesday (December 25th, 2012) at the Evergreen Health Center following a lengthy illness.
Born July 3rd, 1946 in Wellsville she was a daughter of Allen W. and Kathryn E. Stahlman Aiken.  In Oakridge, Tennessee in 1982 she married Charles A. Harris, who survives.
Sandy was a 1964 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and later attended secretarial school.  She Resided in Germany before moving to Virginia in 1985.
She was employed in retail sales at K-Mart in Windchester for 7 years before her illness.
Sandy loved going to Ocean City (Maryland) Beach with her family.  She also enjoyed cooking and taking walks.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Brian (Christie) McLaughlin of Windchester; one daughter, Shelly (Robert) Grant of Oakridge, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Brooke and Avery McLaughlin and Terrance Grant; five sisters, Cheri (Al) Ambrose of Laurel, Maryland, Judy Eaton of Eldred, Bonnie Kovac of Lascassas, Tennessee, Pam Holly of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Kim (Micky Lyman) Mason of Eldred.
She was preceded in death by a son, Todd A. Aiken on September 5th, 1970.
Friends may call Friday (January 4th, 2013) at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred from 12 to 2 pm at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev. Jay Tennies officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery, Eldred.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s disease Foundation of the donor’s choice.

Love and prayers for all of Sandy's family....Sandy, you fought a hard battle. I will always think of you, and all the fun we had in Maryland. Heaven has a new angel.

My thoughts are with you at this sad time. I have not seen Sandy in many years but have kept in touch with Judy often to see how she is doing. Was so sad to hear about her death. My heart goes out the the family.
