William H. App Obituary
SHINGLEHOUSE —William H. “Bill” App, 78, passed away on Monday (Feb. 8, 2021) at UPMC Cole Hospital in Coudersport.
Born Feb. 17, 1942, in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of Harold and Lillian App. He later married Judy Galentine, who survives.
Mr. App attended Eldred area schools. He was employed by Heritage Cutlery, which later became Klein Cutlery in Bolivar, N.Y. as maintenance supervisor.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Jim (Bernadine) Galentine; four daughters, Sussie (Darin) Moor, Lisa (Scott Aaron) App, Deanna App, and Julie (Brian) Metcalf; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beverly Rice.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jerry App; and one sister Donna Fario.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
