Willard E. "Bill" Moyer

Willard E. "Bill" Moyer of Rixford passed away in his home October 23, 2024. He was born Feb.
21, 1940, to Sarah "Louise" (Silsby) and Willard P. Moyer. He attended Otto-Eldred Schools.
Sometime after leaving high school, he joined the US Army and served from 1961-1963. Bill was
a .55+ year member of the Pittsburgh Plumbers Local Union #27 and the masons Bradford Union
Lodge #749. He did his apprenticeship with McQuilken Plumbing and worked with them many
years. He also worked with Sanders Plumbing, several oil companies part-time, and retired from
DuPont Mechanical.

He married Nancy L. Crouse on Sept. 18, 1965. Together they had 4 children. Debra and Diane
Moyer of Rixford, David (Ann Rakocy) of Frostproof, FL, and Daniel in California. He was a past
member of the Little Nippers. He and Nancy enjoyed traveling and shared many adventures in
their younger years. Bill and Nancy spent 26 years wintering in Florida, most recently
Frostproof. In the more recent years, their adventures were mainly close to their homes in PA
and FL.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy, and their children. His brother, Gary (the
late Virginia "Ginger"), their kids and families. He is survived by a few cousins and Nancy's
family, which included several in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

Bill took great pride in working on his homes in PA and FL. He enjoyed spending time with his
family and neighbors. There will be no visitation at his request. A private family service will be
held at their convenience at Frame's Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Otto
Township Fire Dept. Please no flowers are requested.
