Steven M. Gustin

Steven M. Gustin   Beloved husband, father, grandfather and son
Eldred- Steven M. Gustin, 58, McCrea Brook Rd., passed away Friday (December 5th, 2014) at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born August 6th, 1956 in Olean he was a son of Merle and Dawn Goodman Gustin.  On September 18th, 1976 in the McCrea Brook Wesleyan Church he married Susan Mack, who survives.
Steve was a 1974 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and a 1975 graduate of the Breeden School of Welding. He was a lifetime resident of McCrea Brook.
During high school Steve worked for his grandparents at the McCrea Brook Poultry Farms and also at the Bradford Sub Shop.  After High school he was employed by Bell and Bell Construction in Eldred as a heavy equipment operator.  He later worked for Pennzoil in Bradford as a heavy equipment operator.  From 1987 until his illness he was employed at Air Pre-heater in Wellsville as section manager at the Main St. plant.
Mr. Gustin was a member of the McCrea Brook Wesleyan Church.  He enjoyed playing church softball as well as snowmobile and Go-Kart racing.  He enjoyed spending Time with his family and enjoyed his time with his grandkids.
Surviving in addition to his and his parent of Eldred are 2 sons, Steven (Jessi) Gustin II of Eldred and Cory (Tammy) Gustin of Eldred; 4 grandchildren, Tyler and Zac, Emma and Noah; 3 brothers, Jeff (Bonnie) Gustin of Eldred, Gary (Cathy) Gustin of Eldred, and Tim (Valerie) Gustin of Wellsville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the McCrea Brook Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bill Nace and Pastor Roy Elliot, co-officiating.  Burial will follow in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred.
