DUKE CENTER — Richard A. “Buck” Rau, 75, passed away on Tuesday (June 5, 2018) at his residence following an apparent heart attack.
Born on March 7, 1943 in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of Henry and Virginia Riley Rau. He was employed for 40 years by Stroehmann Bakeries in Olean, N.Y., retiring in 2003 as production supervisor.
Surviving are two sons, Jeffery Rau of Portville, N.Y., and Christopher (Sally) Rau of Nashville, Tenn.
Friends may call on Saturday at the Frame Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev. Rick Price officiating. Burial will be in Duke Center Cemetery.
