Randy B. McKeown

ELDRED, Pa. ---  Randy B. McKeown, 78, of 17 Pickering Street, Sheffield, Pa., and formerly Rixford, passed away on Sunday (June 05, 2022) at Snyder Memorial Healthcare Center.

Born on May 22, 1944 in Rixford, he was the son of William H. and Ruby E. Swiger McKeown. 

He was a 1962 graduate of Otto Eldred High School and then went on to attend Orra Jean Barber School.  He also attended truck driving school in Harrisburg and then went on to drive trucks for many years of his life.

Randy attended the Overcomers Church of Faith in Rew PA and also attended the Eldred United Methodist Church in the past.  He enjoyed hunting, target shooting and watching movies. 

Surviving are three sons; David (Denise) McKeown of Woodbridge, VA; Robert (Kay) McKeown of Warren, PA; Chad (April) McKeown of Goshen, IN; one sister Daunna L. (Frank) Hill of Rixford and four grandsons; David, Gabriel, Ethan, and Eli; and best friend Sharon Sanderson of Rixford.

He was preceded in death by one brother John H. McKeown in 2006.

Friends may call at the Eldred United Methodist Church on Friday (June 10, 2022) from 11am to 1pm at which time a funeral service will follow with Rev. Jeff Hokenson officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
