Percy C. “Bones” Doner

Eldred—Percy C. “Bones” Doner, 60, of Hopper Lane, passed away on Thursday (September 22nd, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital.

Born May 5th, 1962 in Salamanca, he was a son of Clair and Jeanne Bixsby Doner.  On October 14th, 2009 he married Teresa Yvonne Strait, who survives.

Percy was a graduate of Salamanca High School.  He spent his career working for himself as a self-employed contractor.

He was a   social member of the American Legion Post # 1560 of Limestone.  He enjoyed fishing, working on old cars and spending time with company and his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rebbecca Edey of Eldred and Nicole Williams of Moundsville, WV; two sons, Justin Doner and Dustin Doner, both of Killbuck, NY; as well as seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Stephen Doner and Todd Doner, both of Killbuck, Ny; and one sister, Jeannie Doner of Wellsville, Ny.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Louie Doner.

Friends may call on Saturday (October 08, 2022) from 12-1PM at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, at which time a Celebration  of Life will be held with Pastor Max Simms officiating
