RIXFORD, Pa. — Patricia A. Goldsmith, 73, of School St., passed away Saturday (April 22nd, 2017) at the Sena Kean Manor.
Born March 15th, 1944 in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of Peter R. and Gwenvier Wilcox Mott. On March 2nd, 1963 in the Olean Lutheran Church, she married her best friend, Dana R. “Ty” Goldsmith, who survives.
Patricia was a 1962 graduate of Allegany High School. She resided in Duke Center and Rixford since 1965 and she spent her life as a homemaker, while also working as a private cleaner in homes in the local area.
Patty enjoyed ceramics, crossword puzzles and adult coloring books.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of fifty-four years, are two brothers, Clifford “Skip” Mott of Ridgeway and David Mott of Olean; two sisters, Gladys (Richard “Dick”) Miller of Cuba, N.Y. and Janet Eimer of Eldred; several nieces and nephews; and a special nephew who was like a son, Tyrone Mott.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and George Mott.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday (April 27th, 2017) at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred, at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev. Roger Laktash officiating. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery, Allegany, N.Y.
