Marilyn Slagle Obituary
ELDRED, Pa --- Marilyn J Slagle, 96, of Mechanic Street passed away Saturday (January 21, 2023) at Sena Kean Manor.
Born November 6, 1926 she was the daughter of Peter C. Leffler and Marjorie Ostrander Leffler. In 1961 she married Leonard Slagle who preceded her in death in 2000. She had one sister Dorothy Leffler Mraz who died in 1970.
Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Eldred. She worked as an administrative assistant for WA Grow Insurance until her retirement in 1981. She formerly was involved in the Eldred United Methodist Church and Camp Penuel. She always had a cat.
Surviving are: Jacquelyn (Glenn) Cavanaugh of Greensburg PA; Samuel “Jim” (Scilene) Mraz of Latrobe PA; Great niece Carolyn Mraz of Los Angeles CA; Great nephew David (Alexis) Mraz of Philadelphia PA and their son Maxwell.
Visitation will be held at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred on Wednesday, January 25 from 10am until noon, at which time a service will be held with Pastor Bruce Ireland officiating. Burial will be in Lamphier Cemetery.
