Linda Mathewson

PORT ALLEGANY — Linda A. Mathewson, 66, of North Brooklynside, passed away on Wednesday (June 2, 2021) at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born on April 20, 1955, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Vincent and Jeanette Promutico Micucci. On May 13, 1973, in Pasadena, Md., she married Albert S. Mathewson, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2021.

Linda was a graduate of Anne Arundel High School in Maryland. She was a homemaker, loved her flower garden and watching movies, daytime TV and especially her soap operas. Most of all Linda loved spending time with her family.

Surviving is one son Albert “Al” (Krystal Hamilton) Mathewson of Eldred; two daughters Catherine (Jeff Cotter) Mathewson of Roulette and Tina Young of Bradford; one brother Vincent Micucci of Severn, Md.; four sisters Cathy (Jimmy) Reynolds of Baltimore, Md., Theresa Richardson of Severn, Md., Rosie Micucci of Severn, Md; and Doreen (Carl) Skinner of Port Allegany; nine grandchildren, Timothy Mathewson, Alex Mathewson, Kate (Devin Wesley) Mathewson, Aaron Mathewson, Destanie (Earl Knight) Mathewson, Issiah, Jerimiah, Sylis, and Ezra Mathewson; one great-grandson Owen Wesley, and one on the way, Deegan Eric Whelpley.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
