Kay L. (Arnold) Bickford

Kay L. Bickford, beloved wife, mother and grandmother
ORMSBY, Pa. — Kay L. Bickford, 54, passed away at her residence on
Sunday (July 12, 2015) following an apparent heart attack.
Born June 7, 1961, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Neil and Vera
Canfield Arnold Sr. On July 5, 1980, in Coryville, she married Roger L.
Bickford, who survives.
Kay was a 1979 graduate of Smethport High School and had resided in
Ormsby for the past 20 years. She was employed by the Zippo
Manufacturing Co. in Bradford for 15 years.
She had attended the Hilltop Baptist Church. She loved spending time
with her grandchildren, riding the Harley with Roger and jewelry
making.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her mother and stepfather,
Vera (Larry) Smith of Coleville; her father and stepmother, Neil
(Patricia) Arnold Sr. of Owosso, Mich.; one son, Jerry (Melissa Hall)
Bickford of Hazel Hurst; a daughter, Mindy (Greg) Nichols of Cyclone;
eight grandchildren, James and Kylee Bickford, Matthew Bickford, David
and Shya Nichols, and Jaden, Josh and Justin Hall; and two brothers,
Neil Arnold Jr. of Smethport and Keith Arnold of Virginia.
Kay was preceded in death by a sister, Laurie Sullivan, on June 4,
2013.
Friends may call at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, on Wednesday from 1
to 4 p.m., at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev.
Max Simms officiating. Burial will follow in the Grimes Cemetery in Port
Allegany.
