Kathleen Haskins-Mitchell
PORT ALLEGANY — Kathleen R. “Kathy” Haskins-Mitchell, 54, of Route 155, passed away on Saturday (March 27th, 2021) in her home, following a brief illness.
Born May 2nd, 1966 in Port Allegany she was a daughter of Jerry D. and Diane Farr Haskins. On May 23rd, 1996 she began a relationship with her loving spouse, Jeffery Snyder, who survives.
Kathy was a 1984 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School. She served in the US Army prior to having been employed at many businesses in the local area over her career, most recently she had been employed as a driver for Port Allegany School District and Home Health Care.
Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren, as well as going camping. She was always active and enjoyed life.
Surviving are her father, Jerry D. Haskins in South Carolina; her mother, Diane (Carl) Farr-Sleight of Eldred; two daughters, Christina Baker and Brittney Mitchell, both of Eldred; three stepchildren, Travis M. Snyder of Bradford, Jessica Smoker of Port Allegany and Kari (Chris) Kinzel of Kansas City, Mo.; as well as 14 grandchildren; and one stepbrother, Jeremy Sleight of Rochester, N.Y.
Friends may call on Friday (April 2nd, 2021) at the First Church of God, Eldred from 4 to 5 p.m. at which time a celebration of Kathy’s life will be held with the Rev. Jim Kazimer, pastor, officiating.
