Jody A. Lauver

Turtlepoint- Jody A. Lauver, 55, of Long Hollow passed away on Thursday (December 23, 2021) following a courageous battle with Cancer. 

Born on December 01, 1966 she was the daughter of Hanford and Mary Ann Whitney Johnson. On July 10, 1992 in Coleville Church she married Brian S. Lauver who survives. 

Jody attended Coryville Church of Faith, loved bingo, playing cards, lounging in her recliner and taking long rides with Brian.  Most of all she loved her son. 

She was a 1984 graduate of Smethport Cavalry Academy.  Jody was previously employed by Carlson’s General Store in many positions for 18 years. 

Surviving in addition to her husband of twenty-nine years are one son Matthew Lauver of Kenmare, ND, two brothers; Robert (Betty) Johnson of Hamlin, NY and Raymond Johnson of Sebastian, FL, Two sisters; Linda (Jeff) Anderson of Rixford and Sara (Terri Burdick) Collins of Smethport; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday (December 30, 2021) at 1 P.M. at the Coryville Church of Faith with Rev. Karmon Woods officiating.
