Joan E. Bell

Eldred- Joan E. Bell, 81, of Prentisvale road passed away on Saturday (July 03, 2021) at the Bradford Manor.

Born on November 12, 1939 she was the daughter of Raymond and Marge Moyer. On October 23, 1954, in the Wesleyan Church in McCrea Brook, Eldred she married Edward D. Bell Jr. who preceded her in death.

Joan attended Otto Eldred School District and was a lifelong resident of Prentisvale, Eldred area. She retired from AVX after 42 years of employment.

She was a member of the United Methodist church and enjoyed having regular lunch visits with her friends from school.

Surviving are two sons; Steven (Janet) Bell of Portville, NY and Scott (Colleen) Bell of Prentisvale; one daughter Terri (Mike) Ogilvie of Duke Center; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death including her husband is one son Christopher Bell; and five brothers Bob, Roger, Donny, Phil and Larry Moyer.

Friends may call at the Eldred United Methodist Church, Eldred, on Wednesday, July 07, 2021 from 12 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. will be a private family viewing then from 1:00P.M. until 3:00 P.M. will be public visitation with the funeral service immediately following with Pastor Jim Cannistraci officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Otto Township Ambulance or the Eldred United Methodist Church.
