Eldred-  Jessie R. Connors, 61, of 13 Fox Lane, passed away Saturday (April 22nd, 2017), in her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 25th, 1955 in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Emery and Cleva Sheldon Billyard.  On October 21st, 1972 in Eldred she married Matthew P. Connors, who survives.
Jessie had attended Hamburg area schools and later received her degree in Business Management from the Olean Business Institute. She had resided in Eldred since 1973.
Mrs. Connors was employed by Ball-Incon, which later became the Ardagh Group, for 23 years prior to her retirement in due to her health.
Jessie loved the outdoors and camping; she was very active and supportive of all the organizations and activities her husband Matt was involved with.   Her life was taking care of and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 45 years are two sons, Duane (Suphitch “Tina”) Connors of Chicago, Illinois and Michael (Tawnee Collins) Connors of Bradford; five grandchildren, Macey Connors, Seth Connors, Harley Billyard, Torie Field and Kelly Button; a brother, Doyle Billyard of Olean, as well as many nieces and nephews and a special niece, Amy Billyard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Darlene Connors; and a brother, Duane Billyard in 1969.
Friends may call Wednesday at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Dan Manning, associate pastor of the First Church of God, Eldred, officiating.  Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Smethport.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Eldred Conservation Club or to the First Church of God, Eldred.
