Bradford- James M. DeFilippo 63, of Garlock Hollow passed away on Monday (July 05, 2021) at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 29, 1958 in Olean, NY he was the son of Mario and Ida Mae Moyer DeFilippo. On May 07, 1988 he married Tammy Albney who survives.
Jim had been employed by Case Cutlery prior to finding his passion in carpentry for which he owned and operated J.D. Construction in Bradford until his retirement. Along with his wife he participated in the Sunday Bowling league and the week day men’s league in Bradford at Byllye Lanes.
Jim Loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching NASCAR Races and mowing his lawn.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one son, Christopher (Jessica) DeFilippo, two daughters, Stephanie DeFilippo and Jamie DeFilippo, all of Bradford; nine grandchildren, Lucas, Kilee and Alexis DeFilippo, Joe and Justin Yonker, Halie Bradford, Caden DeFilippo, Hunter Vinelli and a grandson on the way in 2022; one brother, Geno (Martha) DeFilippo of Bradford, seven brother and sister in laws, Dave (Becky) Albney, Pam Albney, Toni (Ray) Blose, Marlene DeFilippo, Bob (Amy) Albney, Tonya Gebauer, and Terri Woodruff; as well as nieces and nephews, Cindy (Dave) Robinson, Joey, Kay, Christina, Tony, and Regina (Garrin) Gann.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother and father in law, Tony and Ethel Albney; a brother, Edward DeFilippo in 2014, a brother in law, Jim Albney in 2016, and two nephews, David DeFilippo in 1999 and Jonathan Gebauer in 2016.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held with the Rev. Rick Price officiating.
