Beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother and Sister
Eldred, Pa.- Inge M. “Nina” Thomas, 50, passed away on October 2, 2018 at the Olean General Hospital.
Born on November 15, 1967 in Olean she was a daughter of Herbert and Elke H. Juenger Appleby Jr.. On June 16, 1990 in Perry, N.Y. she married James Thomas, who survives.
She was a1985 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and later graduated from Jamestown Community College as a Registered Nurse. Sh, along with her husband, had resided in Perry, NY and Filmore, NY prior to moving badk to Eldred. For many years she had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania and New York and was currently employed as a Registered Nurse in the office of Dr. Terhaar in Olean.
Inge loved reading and listening to the top Forty Music, attending their children’s sports events and spending quality time with her family and friends. She was an avid New York Yankee and Dallas Cowboy van. She loved playing volleyball, especially her 1984 unbeaten high school season.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her Mother, Elke Burrows of
Eldred, one son, Ray’shene Thomas at home and three daughters, Taylor Thomas of Pittsburgh, Camryn Thomas attending college at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and Taryn Thomas at home, a brother, Steve (Kristi) Appleby of Eldred and a sister, Lisa (Rob) Gill of Cape Coral, Florida and a half sister, Cassie Hollamby of Bradford.
She was preceded in death by her father on January 9, 1999, her brother, Herbert Appleby lll on February 5, 1993.
Friends may call at the First Church of God in Eldred on Saturday (October 6, 2018) from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 P.M., with the Rev. Daniel Manning officiating.
