Ida Cook

Shinglehouse-Ida Cook, 89, of Route 44 passed away on Friday, (December 03,2021) at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 31, 1932, she was the daughter of Lottie Gertrude Yale Bennett and Henry John Bennett.
On August 23, 1952 she married Win Sidelinger who preceded her in death on November 25, 1997.
Ida then married Clarence Cook in July of 2005.
Ida loved her family, crocheting, puzzle books and going for rides.
She was previously employed as a home health aide until she was unable to lift anymore.
Surviving including her husband Clarence Cook of Shinglehouse, PA is one daughter Lottie (Tom) Whitesell of Shinglehouse, one son John Sidelinger of Shinglehouse, a son in law Clarence “Butch” Dickerson of Shinglehouse, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, first husband Win Sidelinger, two daughters; Lucie Dickerson and Joni Sidelinger, and all her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
