Henry “Frank” Barton    loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather
Rixford- Henry “Frank” Barton, 71, of Looker Mountain Trail, passed away Saturday (October 5th, 2013) at the Bradford Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born May 1st, 1942 in Olean he was a son of Sidney J. and Florence Beatrice Stives Barton.  On February 26th, 1966 in the Church of Christ in Fosterbrook, he married Patricia L. Scalfaro, who survives.
Frank was a 1961 graduate of Otto Eldred High School and had resided in the Rixford area his entire life.  
Mr. Barton was employed as a roustabout for the Paul Kahle Oil Co. and later for the Quaker State Oil Co. in production for many years.  He then worked for Zona Construction in Eldred until retiring due to poor health.
Frank was a member and past president of the Otto-Eldred High School Sports Boosters, and a member of the Otto Twp. Lion’s Club.  He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and family, as well as playing card games with family and friends.  He also enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and restoring houses.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Tracey (Bruce) Stone of Rixford; 4 grandchildren, Cody (Brittany Martz) Stone, Mackenzie Stone, Sydney Stone and Alexander Stone; one great granddaughter, Ryon Stone; and one sister, Nancy Beckwith of Olean; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Barton in 1996.
Friends may call Tuesday (October 8th, 2013) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am with the Rev. Glenn Hamilton and the Rev. Rick Price, co-officiating.  Burial will be in Rixford Cemetery.
