Gerald E. "Jerry" Burrows

ELDRED — Gerald E. “Jerry” Burrows, 70, of Barnum Road passed away on Tuesday (Dec. 26, 2023) at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 7, 1953 he was the son of Donald K. and Alice M. Freer Burrows.

Jerry was a lifelong resident of the Eldred area and attended the Otto-Eldred School District.  He retired from Dresser Rand and enjoyed hunting, fishing and drinking.

Surviving including his mother and wife Marlene is one son, Todd (Mary Arbore) Burrows of Rixford; two daughters, Laura (Chris) Burrows of Scranton, and Michelle L. (Andrew) Loveless of West Eldred; one stepdaughter, Marcy L. (Shawn) Stahli of Prentisvale; two sisters, Carol (Gary) Eaton of Eldred, and Darlene (Randy) Nuhfer of Eldred; and six grandchildren, Alicia Burrows, Kegan Burrows, Kirsten Burrows, Kristen Stahli, Todd Stahli, and Jordan Mawn.

Preceding him in death was his father Donald K. Burrows in 2016 and one grandchild Kelsey Stahli in 2012.

As per Jerry’s wishes, no services will be held.
