Gary Lee Batt
ELDRED, Pa. — Gary Lee “Battman” Batt, 74, of Fowler Brook Road, passed away in his home on Thursday (Oct. 14, 2021).
Born on Dec. 26, 1946, he was the son of Harry and Helen Burg Batt. He was a 1965 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School.
Gary grew up on and helped operate the family farm on Fowler Brook Road. He had been employed by and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Gary was a member of the Duke Center Lodge No. 555 F&AM and the NRA. He loved fishing, boating and gardening.
Surviving is a son, Jason (Tabathia) Santora of Bradford; two daughters, Lori Foster of Erie and Tina (Don) Baker of Eldred; three brothers, Ken (Sue) Batt of Eldred, Ray (Kathy) Batt of Missouri and Richard (Rhonda) Batt of North Carolina; three sisters Jennette Crandell of New York, Elizabeth Batt of New York and Shirley (Bruce) Moore of Florida; five grandchildren Zachary Acton of Denver, Colo., Shane Acton of Bradford, Allie Foster of Erie, and Prixah and Max Santora of Bradford; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. held on Tuesday (Oct. 19, 2021)at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 20, 2021) with the Rev. Rick Price, officiating. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the services.
