Eldred- Evelyn R. Bhe, 74, of West Eldred Rd., was welcomed to her eternal home by Jesus her Lord on Sunday (September 8, 2013) at the Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born February 4th, 1939 in Ridgeway she was a daughter of James and Thelma Boyd Harbridge.
Mrs. Bhe was employed for many years by the American Olean Tile Company prior to her retirement in 1991.
Evvie was an avid reader and fisherwoman. She also enjoyed playing bingo, cards (especially euchre), working puzzles and mosaics, and spending time with her friends at the Eldred Senior Center. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Kim (Don) Connolly of Eldred, Cindy (Richard) Lasher of Port Allegany, and Jackie (Scott) Keiser of Shinglehouse; one son, Marshall Frost of Bradford; 11 grandchildren, Gin Lasher, Mikki (Chuck) Ebert, Sarah (Brad) Larson, Larry Walker, Jesse Walker, Dodie (Audi) Champion, Nykki (Taylor) Zurat, Samantha Frost, Beth (Brandon) Freer, A.J. (Jamie) Lockwood, and Michelle (Anthony) Tate; many great grandchildren, two half-sisters, Bea (Richard) Witteman of Ridgeway and Lily Bender of Strongsville, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-mother, Alma Harbridge; a grandson, Marshall Allen Lasher; and a great grandson, Landon M. Lockwood.
Friends may call Thursday (September 12th, 2013) at the First Church of God in Eldred from 11 am to 2 pm, at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev. Charles “Bud” Lasher officiating. Burial will be in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette, Pa.
