Wexford- Ella M. “Cookie” Pollier, 81, formerly of Eldred, passed away on Nov 30th.
Born on April 28, 1943 she was the daughter of Thomas and Emily Lamb Cooke.
Ella was a 1961 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and went on to attend Thiel College obtaining her B.S. in Math. She grew up in Eldred and then resided in Pittsburgh since 1976. Ella was formerly a Social Worker, Business owner and a Math Teacher at Vincentian High in Pittsburgh.
Ella was a member of the Pitt. Public Theater and loved playing Duplicate Bridge with her Duplicate Bridge Club friends. She also loved vacationing with her family at Chautauqua, but most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters; Heather (Allen) Chase of Eldred, Amber (Tracy Sprague) Morrisroe of Eldred, and Paige (Mingyuan “Andy”) Lin of Wexford, one sister in law Wanda Cooke of Tennessee, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Cooke of Tennessee.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 3rd at Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, Pa. 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.atwhich time funeral service will be held. Burial service held at Lamphier Cemetery.
