SMETHPORT — Earl M. Parris, 75, formerly of Main Street, passed away on Tuesday (Oct. 2, 2018) at the Sena Kean Manor.

Born on Feb. 17, 1943, in Bradford, he was a son of Joseph H. and Bertha Mae Pierce Parris. He had attended Smethport area schools and had been employed for many years in sawmills and retired as foreman in the saw mill in East Smethport. Earl loved fishing and hunting.

Surviving are two sons, Rick (Dawn Walden) Parris of Crosby and Mark (Jenn) Watson of Coudersport; two daughters, Kathy (Jeff Kellichner) Parris of Homer City and Charlene (John Buck) Booher of Bradford; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eddie Parris of Salamanca, N.Y.; and a sister, Donna (Carl) Larkin of Port Allegany.

Earl was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Tadder, on Feb. 28, 2017, and a great-grandson, Robert Tadder.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
