Clarence P. Cook

Kane- Clarence P. Cook, 88, of Kane passed away on September 18, 2024 at UPMC Cole.

Born on November 8, 1936 in James City, Pa. he was the son of Melvin James Cook and Jennie Elizabeth Confer.  On May 21, 1956 he married Irene Marie Roush, where they had many children together; Marlene, Janet, Jane, Joe Sr., and William.  Irene Marie Roush preceded him in death on December 5, 1996.  He then remarried Ida Sidelinger on July 19, 2005 and she preceded him in death on December 03, 2021.

surviving includes Bill Cook and his wife Sherry and their children Amber, Skylar, and Devin of Kane, Pa., Janet Fox and her husband Russell Fox of Punxy, Pa., grandchildren include Joey Tyler, Bob Bar and his wife Tammy and there kids Aaron and Breanna of Kane, Pa., Rachel Fox and her fiance CHris Benson and their son Charle-Lee Benson from Punxy, Pa., Maria Haight and her fiance Robert Chaplain and there son Bryan Chaplain of Punxy., Christopher Haight and his wife Emily and there daughters Cassidy and Shelby of Summerville, Pa.,  also Joe Jr. and Brandy.  Tom Whisell, Stacy Blair, Keith Penworth, John Sidelinger.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother Laurence Cook, a brother Donald Cook, HIs first wife Irene Roush, two daughters Marlene Thompson and Jane Cook (Tyler), one son Joe Cook Sr., one son in law Richard (Dick) Thompson, two grand daughters Sarah Marlene Benson and Cheyenne Irene Benson, one grandson Whyatt Shane Haight.  His second wife Ida Sidelinger and one daughter Lottie Whitsell,
