Brenda D. Morris
Eldred- Brenda D. Morris, 58, formerly of Eldred, passed away Tuesday (September 17, 2013) at the Sena Kean Manor following a long illness.
Born October 29th, 1954 in Jacksonville, FL she was a daughter of Fred and Lucy Burrows Higginbotham.
Brenda was a 1972 graduate of Zephyrhills (FL) High School and later attended community college. She had resided in the Eldred area since 1988, and before entering Sena Kean Manor she had resided in Hazel Hurst with her fiancé, Theodore Foster.
She had been employed by the McKean County Redevelopment and Housing Authority in Smethport before becoming disabled.
Brenda loved being with her grandchildren. She was an avid thrifter and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are 1 son, Matthew (Donna) Morris of East Smethport; 1 daughter, Stacy (Bryan) Greene of Lake Wylie, SC; 6 grandchildren, Bryanna Greene, Wyatt Greene, Matthew Morris II, Kristopher Lowman, Abigail Cummings and Nicholas Cummings; 1 brother, Sonny Higginbotham of Zephyrhills; and 3 sisters, Betty Coleman of Okeechobee, FL, Sue Baker of Newark, Arkansas; and Carol (Dale) Eudy of Dunnellon, FL.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Addison.
Friends may call Saturday (September 21st, 2013) at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred from 12 to 3 pm, at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev. Dan Mong officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local ambulance association of the donor’s choice.
