Ann M. "Annabelle" Shipman

Eldred- Ann M. “Annabelle” Shipman, 71, of Barden Brook Road passed away on Friday (May 13, 2022) at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born on March 12, 1951 she was the daughter of William and Marie Richardson Crowley. On June 04, 1983 at St. Raphael’s Church in Eldred, she married Jerry “Skeeter” Shipman.

Ann was a 1969 graduate of Otto Eldred and a lifelong resident of Eldred. She was previously employed by Dresser Rand formerly known as Clark Brothers for 43 years before retiring, and was also a member of St. Raphael’s Church.

She was a second mother to many generations of nieces and nephews, who absolutely adored her. She loved flowers, decorating, gardening, entertaining and hosting family events.

Surviving including her husband are five brothers, Michael (Sharon) Crowley of Eldred, William (Susan) Crowley of Olean, NY., Robert (Barbara) Crowley of Warren, Richard (Jean) Crowley of Eldred, and Thomas (Gregory) Crowley of Tucson, AZ.; one sister Patricia (Charles) Sherman of Eldred.; many nieces and nephews and her beloved kitty Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call on Tuesday (May 17, 2022) from 4-7pm at the Frame Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday (May 18, 2022) at 11 am St. Raphael’s Church with Rev. Thomas E. Brown as Celebrant.

The Rosary will be recited at the conclusion of visitation at the Funeral Home.
