|Lois was a dear friend and a great inspiration to me!
I enjoyed the time we spent together and I will never forget her.
My heart goes out to all of her family and friends.
She will be missed greatly!
I know Lois is with the Lord now and one day we will all be together again.

|I would like to express my sympathy to the family of Lois Tyler on her passing.I met Lois at Bradford Speedway during her Living Legends appearance,it was a joy to talk racing history with her! she signed a copy of her book 9/16 & wished us luck on our racing season,she also sent me a couple letters with some racing history info i was looking for! she was a great lady & will be missed,my thoughts & prayers to her family.|

|ASCAR Women's National Championship Race
Lois Tyler of Bradford, PA who raced a 1960 Studebaker Lark 6 in the NASCAR Women's National Championship race, January 31, 1960 at the Daytona International Speedway, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012. Lois was 81 years of age.
She raced Legends type race cars extensively later in her life. Her late husband, Carl Tyler, raced on the Beach in the last NASCAR beach race and in the first race held on the new Daytona International Speedway in February 1959.
Lois also served as a long time race scorer for Richard Petty.
Lois rest in peace and thanks for the memories!
