Helen was an avid reader, especially of mysteries, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku and watching TV. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Starlite Bowling League; she also enjoyed playing horseshoes and golfing. She enjoyed parties and loved spending time and socializing with her friends and family. She loved animals. She would begin each day by reading her Bible.
