To Patti, Bud, and Ernie's children,
I was saddened to hear of Ernie's passing. He was a wonderful man and dedicated to Eldred and its school alumni association. I knew him well in high school as well. I was reacquainted with him when he represented the school where I taught (Portville Central). I gained much respect for him in his position with the state!
I am so very sorry for your loss.

Worked with Ernie during my years in education. He was always a gentleman and always the professional. Enjoyed our times together. It is very hard to see friends like Ernie pass away. His family should be very proud of the legacy he leaves.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Hand family. I have many fond memories of the time he spent in Little Valley. He was a friend to both of my parents and I always enjoyed reconnecting with him when our paths crossed over the years. May the memory of the happier times you shared together provide you strength during this difficult time.
