my first memories are at their home at the end of tin can alley. they had a wringer washer which she caught her finger in and the nail never grew straight. the living room had big flowers on the wall paper and kerry always peed on it when his diaper was changed. ronnie and i were fascinated by melting crayons & plastic army men on the furnace grates. visiting her parents farm in eldred which was so cool it had an outhouse. Patty and Laura and Nancy arguing over jack campbell's critter - bull or cow? at one of many family barbecues. the pink flamencos at the duke center house that she uniquely mispronounced. whether viko, zippo, the store or home she worked hard. she and her surroundings were always tidy. then retirement, taking care of Mark and astonishing us all by moving back to rixford and falling in love with a dog! she was a great sister in law and we will all miss her.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I used to come to Rixford every summer when I was growing up. At that time your parents lived at the end of the alley. I thought it was the neatest house. Your Mom and Dad were both such nice people and will be missed by all who knew them.
