Dear Marlene,

We are with you in prayer as you celebrate her life this morning at the Mass of Resurrection. We are not able to attend because we are in Erie at Mount Saint Benedict for our annual community retreat. However, be assured of our prayers for your mom and also for you. I, Phyllis, was an only child and I can understand your loss. Peace be with you.

Marlene and family... Aunt Steffie was a lovely woman and mother... my memories of her and your Dad are from every trip we took to Olean for family gatherings. Each of the Aunts had such a different personality. I admired the strength and faith in God... and family. I learned that from them. The way I felt when I was being hugged .... it was special. I loved to hear your mother's voice... it just reminded me of all of the ladies. I always looks forward to seeing my Olean family. They will always be in my heart!

I am saddened to read about the loss of your Mother. I was not aware that she had passed until today when I visited this website. I know your deep faith will help you through this time.
