Sandra C. Hand         Beloved wife, mother and grandmother
Eldred- Sandra C. Hand, 54, of Slack Hollow Rd., passed away Thursday (May 24th, 2012) in her residence following a long illness.
Born November 27th, 1957 she was a daughter of Harvey and Jean McClintic Gummo. She was a graduate of Port Allegany High School.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Earl “Budd” Hand; sons Christopher and Timothy; stepsons Matthew and Zachery; stepdaughter Alicia (Nick) Treat; two grandchildren, Isaac and Gillian Treat; sisters, Mary Rhinehart, Ada (Paul) Springman, Leanna (Rick) Stephenson, Harvetta (Phillip) Green, Dolly (George) Tadder; brothers, Bill Gummo and Jamie (Mary Kay) Gummo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepson, Budd Hand.
Sandy was a long time employee of Ethan Allen.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was an avid and successful gardener.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Sandy’s life on June 2nd at 2 p.m. at 502 Slack Hollow Rd., Eldred.

just wanted to say how sorry am to hear about sandy''s passing. as you may remember, last summer i came by and bought several flowers from sandy''s garden. i hadn''t seen her in years so we had a nice visit and she gave me a tour of your property. all my plants are growng beautful this year. i was planning on stopping by to tell her. so please know that as i enjoy my flowers i will always think of her and her kindness of sharing her garden with me.
